I discovered this method a few years ago by Matt DiMaio and I've been using it ever since to remember a lot of information from textbooks for my exams! So, I thought I'd share it :)

Thank you so much for the short video. I've already tried it out for myself and suddenly it seems I understand the needed information from a textbook even better and quicker. Doing this right now. Restarting from first topic of calculus 3 course. Need to make sure I have a full complete understanding of what I’m doing. Gonna “master” each topic then move onto the next chapter. Need to be extra ready for calculus 3 next semester.

The best strategy for me is writing about the application of the information in the texbook in how it can be useful as it signals to the brain to value the knowledge and to put it in storage.

Its all fun and games until your teacher/professor asks you to recite how many toes a historical figure had, but you only do skim reading 🗿

Instructions unclear. Absorbed the textbook too well. Help! Please! It was a rental! I don't know where it went, but my neck can't support my head anymore.
