Great tips. I have too found out myself that using pointing tool noticeably improves speed. Also not all books are the same, some are easier to read and some are harder purely because of writer's ability rather than the subject. For someone just starting out I would suggest to go with books that will be easier to finish, i.e. shorter, fictional, popular books.

Your Channel and your videos are far more better than thousands of self improvement youtubers. Its not like they make bad videos but most of the youtubers always say the same thing in every video. Your videos gave me real information what my brain seeked . Thanks man ❤

just passing by to say: good video! i already use some of these techniques because my major requires a lot of reading and can be proof that they work to retain info for a longer time. i still remember information i read last year.

Just stumbled across this and I got to appreciate the work put into it, short yet seamless and up to its original point, everything mentioned in the video is quite true, I've never been a good student, slash that I never read anything back then, I had started reading with a pencil, as I didn't lose the particular line or word, and man it helped a ton.
Right now, I'm kind of glad that I've reached a point where I can understand what I'm reading about at once, and can't stop until I finish the book in a day or two.
But speed reading is something I'm going to learn, now that I've been reminded by this video!!
Thank you for making this video!!
Might be one of the best videos out there on this particular skill~
✨✨✨✨
(Edit: I've always had this habit of writing everything too long, like an essay😭😭😭)

After this video, I also decided to lock myself in a white room and asked to be locked in a hospital for the mentally ill, I have been sitting here for 2 days already. Nice video, in 10 years I will also become like Ayanokoji👍

I`ve watched it only partly but still I can say about two things that I`ve realised before and that`s why I dont read so fast as I can. Subvocalization (obviously because it makes reading more enjoyable) but what was really important is increase my tempo and slow down if something is really interesting. i dunno if i`ll follow these tips because I´m get used to read slowly but i´ll give it a shot.
