This is the same result that I found with breathing exercises and holding the breath + contracting the core and back muscles. It's also the same like progressive muscle relaxation.

This was something i noticed a long time ago and when i became an adult and realized that days that were completely "rest" days made me feel worse then days i did recovery exercises. Its one of those i want to call my football coach and apologize for being a pain about having to still do light cardio and some training on off days because now i know why he did it that way (it was an extremely competitive football school so practice/exercise was 7 days)

This video really helped confirm what I was feeling all week. Any restless leg type symptoms or stiffness has gone away with isometric type contractions. Simply flexing my glutes as hard as I can seems to do more for my hips than any of the stretching I tried, and it tends to be the contracting muscle that feels best for me after a "stretch". I think so much of this is nervous system related and that electrical energy needs to flow and get used up or things start to lose proper function.

I have ADHD and I'd just like to thank you for making this video so easy to watch. I actually managed to get all the way through without losing concentration or skipping bits - which is extremely rare!

I've suffered with chronic pain and various physical issues for years and I'm incredibly stiff and inflexible. I'm currently trying to claw my way back to some kind of decent physical health, so I'll endeavour to check out your other videos.
