2023 Nissan Qashqai, X-Trail & Pathfinder first look review!

Nissan is busy launching a stack of EVs this year and we had the chance to get up close with the all-new 2023 Nissan Qashqai e-Power, 2023 Nissan X-Trail and the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder! Pricing is still yet to be announced for the three vehicles (with the exception of Qashqai pricing for non-e-Power models (link below)). Paul Maric checks the Nissan trio out to see if they're any good!

I actually think Nissan have done very well design wise, these look fantastic. I'm less enthusiastic about the engine choices though.

It looks like Nissan has finally hit the nail on the head with its new vehicles. They look very modern and pleasing to the eye.Can't wait for the drive tests.

Xtrail must be pretty good. There was a worn-out ancient and dilapidated Xtrail that parked in my alley and I would pass it every day. Now parked in the same spot is a shiny new Xtrail. The owner must have been satisfied with the Xtrail model. Great video, , Paul. Take care and be safe out there everyone.

Interesting comment on the xtrail, I've had the 2.5lt STL 2018 since new and find it to be a great comfortable car, I really don't want sell or upgrade so will hang on to it, the 2.5lt is more than capable and effortless as well as great fuel economy, just drove from Port Macquarie to Bega this week and averaged 7.0 lts per 100kms.

I’m so glad these are coming soon. Nissan’s range was starting to look a little like dinosaurs in a constantly evolving market. I do hope they’ve improved their CVT though, I had a 2009 Murano TI and the transmission to say the least was a shocker and definitely put me off the company… Glad to see they’ve put themselves back on the rails again, might even consider one in the future, especially with that new hybrid power train and these through the roof patrol prices.

That little random hole on the X-trails lower dash is for a ETC toll card reader in Japan.

Also the Auto in the Pathy is a Mercedes-Benz 9G built by jatco under license.

these three cars looks fantastic especially for the pathfinder is huge upgrade gets a new transmission the cvt is gone replaced by confessional 8 speed automatic this is fantastic lineup

I love them all! I still opted for the new outlander just because I like the look of that over x-trail but the x-trail is still a very nice car. I think Nissan is onto a few winners here 🤞

I’ve seen these Qashqais on the streets already, and they are beautiful cars to look at. In my opinion, they look way better in person. I really like then.

We have 2021 rogue in the states with the 2.5 engine and it gets 37mpgs on the highway which is amazing for AWD and loaded with 4 ppl.
