Stage Manager is a godsend! I have so many apps open for work and swiping between desktops is a resource hog, along with everything running in the background. This is a huge blessing!

As a student I think stage manager is just awesome as I have many windows open at the same time. It will make my workflow easier swapping between research and writing.

I use stage manager almost all the time. Multiple finder windows with an other app, Spotify, Lightroom but on a 27” display. And I love it. I also leave access to the desktop so I can easily use what is left on the desktop. Thanks for you videos.

I really, really, really like the new preview function in Spotlight. I think that was the only feature you mentioned that excited me. Still staying on Monterey for now, though.

Actually, Stage Manager works quite well on my MacBook Pro 13 in for what I do (a lot of word processing, Powerpoint, and photo editing.) I've run Ventura for a day now, and Stage Manager is much better than I expected. It's really nice having everything off to the left where I can see it.

When does it come out to the public. And what are the restrictions on year of my Mac book pro 13

I’ve used stage manager a few times now while doing school work. I’d likely use it more on a larger screen than my MacBook Air’s.

I've used the multiple desktop feature for so long, I seriously doubt I'll bother with stage manager.

Hello, very nice video, please I need your help, I downloaded the Ventura beta on my Macbook pro 2018 model, today the screen turned blue and I don't know how to fix it. Please can you help?

I have not used stage manager ... as I have not downloaded Ventura yet ... but I have a lot of communications apps (trillian, messages, ) that I would probably enjoy stage manager with. The live preview mode would show a message being received and clue me in to check out that message. I do run with an ultra wide screen with a MBP in clamshell mode.

Also, you're a really good teacher. Explaining why a feature is "great", or useful, like marking a msg unread by putting it in a context of proper use would be great. (can't figure out how that feature was even worth the time of coding it? a practical example may help?)

interesting, I must say before your video i didn't try the stage manager.. I'm used to getting a few desktops, which I find really useful as you can get several software and go from one to another without bothering about where is the window you need.

Did apple fix the bug in Mac mail? You know the bug that keeps mail in your flagged mailbox after you unflagg it? I’ve had that for the last two Mac OS updates.

"Stage Manager" - perhaps occasionally then eventually NOT. "Shared Photo Library" - brilliant. "System Settings (Preferences)" - OK fine. "Messages" - read receipt - good. "Mail" - nope - I use Gmail - and - I believe I have what I need already? " Spotlight" - quick preview - great. "Safari" - I use Chrome - not convinced to switch yet. "Passkeys" - nope. Honestly David, after having switched to the Mac about 4 years ago, I am somewhat underwhelmed by Ventura? But you just can't hit a home run every time at bat!

Excellent video I've been watching your videos for a long time I am a physically disabled person that uses Mac it was a hard blow to me when they discontinued dragon for Mac and honestly Voice control has been terrible on the Mac certain commands do not work my question is have you played with Voice control in Ventura to see if there has been any improvements? Because it seems to be way behind what dragon can do thanks

The little video previews in System Preferences (Settings) were a great feature. Also the Messaging app edits only work IF the receiver is running iOS 16...otherwise you're "ducked". Also weird that editing or deleting a msg leaves a foot print. That's going to just cause more texts, confusion, and maybe animosity as to "what was sent?" For instance a drunk text that smartly gets deleted to an ex...the ex now sees the sent and unsent? Really Apple? Then why even bother?!
