Team natural scroll, 100%. If I swipe up on my trackpad, I push the content up. On mice with scroll wheels, however, that makes less sense.

In the end, it's all about muscle memory and what you're (willing to get) used to.

Natural scroll is same as scrolling with your iphone, a gesture we are so used to now. When it is disabled it really feels unnatural :D

I can't imagine scrolling with a trackpad without natural scrolling enabled. It mimics the gesture you'd use on mobile and also if you were pushing a piece of physical paper up and down. It's so much more intuitive than the reverse.

Nice tips! There's one that I love, it's not new, but a lot of people don't know about it:
Go to:
Settings > Accessibility > Pointer Control > Trackpad Options.
Turn on: Use trackpad for dragging
Dragging style: Three Finger Drag.

Now you can drag any window (on the top bar), icon and other stuffs with 3 fingers. That's is awesome and I don't know why is not inside Trackpad menu.

I'm with you on the scrolling. I like to move my fingers down to scroll down. I've been doing it that way for decades and I'm not changing.

Another well-framed 14 settings video. Very practical informative and enjoyable. Thanks!

Stage Manager looks great, but I think you need a big enough screen, so it doesn't feel as intrusive. Perhaps at least a 16" MacBook or even a standalone monitor.

Team natural scroll, but what has driven me nuts about macos is that for some reason, natural scroll on trackpad and on mouse is linked. On the trackpad, I like natural scroll, I hate it on a mouse though, but whenever you change it for either trackpad or mouse, it changes it for the other. So recently I've just been sucking it up and using the unnatural scroll for the trackpad cuz I use a mouse 90% of the time...

I like natural scrolling on the touch pad, but hate it on a mouse. I use an app called scroll reverser 2 to get the setting I want.

Agree about the natural scrolling. Natural? Unnatural. How did they ever come up with that? But this has been around for ages.

Team Natural Scroll. I like the default on MACs for the trackpad because it feels like pulling on a piece of real scroll or something. Then for mouse I like to toggle it. There is a free tool yet.

You can drag that ear icon on to the top toolbar also…anything from control center pretty much. 5:08

I'm with you on Natural Scrolling. There is NOTHING natural about it!! Down is down and up is up :)

The scrolling setting drives me crazy, too. I didn't have to watch your video to find out how to change it because as soon as I tried scrolling, I was like, "Oh hell no!" I went to System Settings within, like, 30 seconds, and I just searched for the setting & changed it. IDK what's considered UNnatural about moving your finger DOWN when you want to go DOWN!

Natural scroll seems so much… NATURAL for me. I love it.

I like the idea of Stage Manager but I also like to have windows open next to each other in case I need to reference between the two. I wish there was a way to make both possible. Also I'm team unnatural scroll, so you're not alone!

For trackpad, team natural scroll, because we are moving the page, just like using the phone or tablet.
For mouse (beside Magic Mouse), team unnatural scroll (or should I say scroll bar). I think apple should give a setup of scrolling for trackpad and mouse, otherwise need to use "reverse scrolling" app.
