What makes more sense: steal a loaf of bread and some eggs and be back in the same situation you were in a couple of days ago when you stole those items OR steal something of value like a tv or a few pairs of nice shoes and then sell those items for hundreds if not thousands of dollars at which point you can afford to buy more of the necessities you actually need?
