All I know is of I ever break into a man's house to rob it and he's wearing a Hawaiian shirt and camo pants, I know I fucked up....

I made a moat and my toilet drains directly into it. keeps almost everyone away. neighbours, invaders, post man, even UPS drivers.

some dork from the EPA keeps showing up though.

I used to stay with some friends in Arkansas that the outside their house looked horrendous, cheap, and run down. You go inside it was like the twilight zone a complete mansion. Absolutely beautiful. Amazing what making the outside " ugly " can detour lolol.

I have a dry moat with wild boar, then a wet moat with alligators, and finally a raised terrace of lawyers.

Once he said you need to have a 100 yd. open killing field in order to defend your base it ruled out 85-90% of the viewers.
Most people don’t have 10 yards of open space.

Some excellent advice ive heard was fortify your master bedroom with an exterior door, then fortify your master closet or master bathroom with a exterior door as well. Multiple layers.

If you do bars over the window I would do bars on the inside that can hinge open. Fixed bars will limit your egress in case of a fire or any other reason you might need to exit the structure.

Great info. I've been doing a lot of these same things over the years. Just moved into a new house and the 1st thing I did while changing the locks was take out the 1/2 in screws in the door plates and replace them with 3in. The difference between 2 kicks to get in and 5 or 6 can mean life or death, for you or them.

1. Step 1. Fortify/overwatch/etc Step 2. Meet with your neighbor and tell them you’re the new owner and its a clean slate and give them your phone number if they ever need assistance. Step 3. Shake their hand and say “. Thank you [name] for taking the time to meet me.” The best way to win is to not get into the fight in the first place.

I saw a thumbnail with Hunter Biden holding a cordless drill and figured I would click on it.

The screws is a solid tip that really works and anyone can do. Something I did for a bug in option was I drilled a hole and sunk a half inch steel tube in the floor behind the front door, and bolted a steel tube on the door itself- in the event I need it, or at night while asleep-I made a kick brace out of an old motorcycle shock, (any shock absorber works I made one for my brother with a mountain bike frame shock and it works great) slide it in place and even if someone kicks/smashes in the dead bolt the door just bounces back at them. It takes the force and bounces back instead of smashing through. Keeps an intruder in one position, frustrated, and unaware of where you are or what's holding the door.

The 3 letter agencies in the US can and do access WiFi cameras and use people's own cameras to do surveillance on them. They do it frequently and without warrant. I would definitely advise against them if that is a concern to your situation.

Basically my house is very unsecured, but I've done alot of things to give myself enough time to defend myself and my family. Unfortunately you never feel like its enough. Great vid thank you sir.

The double gates he’s talking about also applies to doors. If possible you want to have the first outside door lead into a room with a second door. That way you can open the first door, lock it behind you and then open the second door that leads into the actually housing unit.

If the fall is tomorrow, here's what the property should have:

1:) privacy fence (varying sizes)
2:) 3-5ft wide, 8ft deep trench inside the fence (camouflage with basic foliage)
3:) fruit trees lining along the inside of the trench line, set to bloom at different times to give you food coverage...

The fence hides the trench, the trench prevents a vehicular assault, and protects the trees, which are loaded with switch armed claymores (cost 40$ each to make or so) wired to battery banks.

Listen if you can defend your property from a safe room by clicking different wires to a battery, your family is far more secure than if you own a firearm.

If you are interested, I can help you set up remote defences for your home

YOU ARE HELPING A LOT OF PEOPLE, THAT OTHERWISE WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO TO PROTECT THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILY !!! IF THEY WILL JUST DO THE SIMPLE THINGS THAT YOU TOLD THEM, THAT WILL GIVE THEM A HEADSTART ON LEARNING HOW TO PROTECT THEMSELVES !!! AND YOU ARE RIGHT, ALWAYS BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDING'S, ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR GUT INSTINCT, IT WON'T LEAD YOU WRONG !!!

Most common locks can be defeated by the bump key, still too cheap to get the double cylinder so I get the bar against the door knob when at home. Wireless cameras usually useless with solar charging batteries run out or flaky wifi. Wire up your place with Cat5e to a central location and install the cameras, no need for seperate power wire. One high wall breach then run cable under eaves. Use remote app to check in anytime. Surveillance sign edge of property and alarm yard signs. An armed helicopter circling above also helps but its a option.
