I used to make my own trip wire alarms using small DC motors attached to the inside of stainless steel bowls. A 9 volt battery powered them. I attached a bolt to the shaft of the motor that would beat against the bowl if something ran into or pulled the wire. These are easy to rig to doors.

The motion detectors are awesome. Non-electric and does not require wi-fi or phone as they run off batteries. I've used them for years.
You can connect up to 5 senors with different tones for locations with one base unit.Solar lights with motion detectors are great also.

Security is of the utmost importance always. Cameras, motion sensors, motion activated lights and sirens. Not to mention natural defenses and man made as well. I saw a couple of other layers of your security too while you walked. Take care and stay safe out there.
