Have you just installed a new NVME drive into your motherboard and it’s not showing Up in the bios? Well it may just be an oversight and nothing particularly wrong with your motherboard or drive(s)!

This actually didn't work for me but what did work for me as I wanted to use M.2 as a booting drive and it wasn't showing up. I switched it to UEFI and then went to Settings >> BOOT and down on the bottom (On B550 TOMAHAWK MSI) there's UEFI HDD BBS priorities and there was the SSD M.2 with the other drive installed.. I clicked the boot option and switched it to m.2>> saved and restarted just incase>> checked if the m.2 is actually set as a booting device a booted windows. Work fine

This saved my a$$, bro. I woke up to my computer giving me that blinking cursor and once I got into bios I find my m.2 boot drive is suddenly missing this happened without me ever ticking a single bios setting. I find your video and not only did you solve my issue, my computer boots and 5x faster than before because csm mode disabled my 11 storage drives during P.O.S.T. I wish I could shake your hand, high five you and give you a bro hug. You're the hero of the day, man

You're a life savior! Just as I got upset after spending awhile to figure out my 1050ti is broken, resorting to integrated graphics, then ssd wouldn't show trying to download and install windows. Came across this, it worked! Thank you so much!

spent 2 and a half hours trying to get my SSD to appear on my new R9 7900x build just to realize I had it in a PCIe slot. It was a fucking SATA NVMe.

If you happened to have your M2 SSD inside an external enclosure - before you go into a panic & get all super-technical - Open it up, polish the contacts and re-seat the stick. It worked for me. Sometimes having it toss around in a bag you're carrying it in and just oxidation will get in your way.

You are an angel. Worked with T705 Crucial and MSI Board (tem CSM option was in ADVANCED list, not on EZ Mode). Thanks!!!

You’re a genius, I was having a problem much similar to disk and your easy way didn’t show in my case. I’m glad that you showed the hard method as well. I set it up and saved and exit and then setup the drive to the new M2. That worked well for me.
