5:34 Method 4: Initialize New SSD Drive
6:28 Method 5: Repair by Disk Management
7:23 Bonus: How To Recover SSD Data

Before you can go on solving the SSD issues, we first need to understand what is the reason behind computers not recognizing SSDs? Well, there are a few reasons; faulty hardware is the simplest one; imagine a wire within the PC not plugged in properly that’s causing your SSD not to be detected. But there are no complicated reasons, like having incorrect BIOS settings or outdated drivers.

No matter the reason, your SSD should be up and running, and that is the aim of this video.

If it's faulty hardware, open up your PC and fix it, and if you don’t know where to look, watch the video carefully to find out.

If it's BIOS problems, you can fix that by yourself within a matter of minutes, as displayed in this video.

But at times, the problem isn’t with the BIOS but with the drivers being outdated; for this, we can simply locate the driver section on the PC, and Windows will update them for us. Isn’t that convenient?

And if tragedy hits and you happen to lose some data from your SSD, Wondershare’s Recoverit is here to fix that, too. Simply download and install the software on your PC and follow the steps given in this video; you’ll recover all the files in no time.

Your video only seems to troubleshoot SATA drivers. Is there a fix for nvme not shown in bios?

At first I've tried entering the drive to extract a PDF document and it gave me:

"A device which does not exist was specified" not letting me in.

I've opened Disk Management and clicked on Rescan.

My problematic drive disappeared entirely. I cannot see it in Disk Management as I cannot see it when I enter My Computer! Is there any way I can get my drive and my stuff inside the drive back or its gone and it needs repair or change?

I think my phone detected the hard drive and not the Windows 11 computer I have. On my phone, it said that because the it does not support the type of SSD I have inserted with the enclosure, I need to format it. Does this mean thay once I do, I can use it?

It’s 2024. Technology has come a long way and you’d think things would be somewhat more simple nowadays but it’s not, nothing ever is.

I’m trying to add a Samsung 850 EVO SSD with my current Windows HDD. When both the HDD and SSD are connected my monitor shows "No Signal" and stays on a black screen even after waiting 10-15 minutes Booting with just the HDD works fine
