without ray tracing it looks classical, with ray tracing obviously looks better, but sometimes its easier to play and build without it. Thats why on java edition i turn on the shaders only when im sight seeing all that ive built

I think it’s about time Minecraft finally adds new graphics. The normal graphics have gotten boring after so many years, so seeing this come to the next generation consoles will be a fresh beginning for the future of Minecraft.

How do you enable ray tracing on a normal world?

For low-ish end PCs, try Complementary Shaders, or for more FPS, Complementary Reimagined.
