So, I figured it would be taking place in San Francisco again being Sonic Adventure 2 based. That being said, in this universe, perhaps the location is switched to Tokyo, which is fine with me. I see every adaptation of Sonic as its own universal version. Sonic CD, Sonic Adventure, Sonic cinematic universe, etc.
