I show how to wire a gfci outlet if you have removed the outlet and didn't mark the wires. I show how to wire a gfci outlet if you have one cable or two coming into the box.

I've searched for an hour trying to decipher this method due to improper wiring from previous owner. In seconds I completely and confidently understood the basic principles for a proper installment. You would be the individual is would dedicate my life to to understanding the trade and skills needed for employment and a well versed technician, needed here in our nation. thank you.

It seems to me you forgot to mention that not all extra wires in the box will necessarily need to be considered a downstream load. If you don't want the other set of wires to be controlled by the GFCI then you would wire them to the extra set of terminals on the line side of the GFCI. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That’s exactly what I did and since I marked the wires before I removed them I did it correctly

Thanks for the great video. I've done regular double outlets in 2 gauge boxes so far and did a good job (up to code) - thanks to you explaining the procedure and safety precautions.
What if I am installing a GFCI outlet and connecting a bathroom fan switch next to it in the same 2 gauge box which then extends to the fan? Sorry, but it's a little confusing to me. Could you perhaps do a video explaining specifically going from the outlet directly into the (fan) switch next to it, in the same box, and then extending to a fan or something? I would greatly appreciate it. By the way I am using wago nuts - they seem easy to use and keep everything clean and organized.

I have 6 wires. 3 white and 3 black. 2 of the black wires are hot wires. I'm having issues switch out the outlet and wiring it properly

Hi, it seems you skipped over the third wire in the first set of three wires that you showed us? You explained the load, line and then went to the second set of three wires?

Hi. I'm a little confused. I have 6 wires 3 white, 3 black only 1 black is hot, that goes to the line. Are the 2 other black loads? Which white is the line? Are the other 2 white loads?

You said you connect the load ground copper wire to the green screw, where do you connect the Line ground copper wire?

Thank you. Very simple. Please label or color code each wire as your drawing. But I got the gist and can rewind
