early game terrible??? what not even close omg - I ran wise glasses focus band energy amplifier and the early game was as strong as a snorlax with added mobility
you just have to play aggressive and use skull bash to get out. outsecured a lucario greninja lane as eldagoss and blastoise. Sure maybe with the score shield buddy barrier build the early game is rough, but with a hybrid build it's not bad at all in fact quite good

Try rapid spin on the jungle, you get cc immunity with rapid spin, hydro pump pushes everyone away while doing rapid spin, it's more of an offensive build

I feel like surf/ hydro "tank" blastoise stomps flail snorlax, but matches decently against slam/ block snorlax? I think a lot of his eventual sitting in tier lists will come down to how well he can compete with snorlax. I don't think he has quite the early game presence in lane as snorlax. It's harder to bully as him. it's very easy to steal last hits, though. So if you can do that enough, I think you can set up an advantage for first dred against the enemy snorlax. You'll still be kinda squishy in that first dred, but if you can make it hard for snorlax to get slam... or at least make him think twice about trying to get away with flail... maybe that's enough?

I've used blastoise in ranked - it is EVIL.
also I think you should pick xspeed over eject button - sure a blink lets you escape, but xspeed lets you run behind their goal and push them out of their nice shield.
also, while not as cc broken as surf/pump, rapidspin + waterspout + basic attack is some insane burst damage since you can do ALL 3 TOGETHER

Try energy amplifier instead of the score shield. (It one shots most targets) I haven't done the surf hydro pump build yet, the aiming is janky in this game so I use rapid spin so far to make sure that I finish off a target with hydro pump whilst in rapid spin...

I know surf is an emblematic move of the game but Timi could use more names please, moreover for a phisical attacker like greninja should call waterfall to his move, I know are little things but fans always apreciate the little details, like not name surf to every water move
