Thanks for this video and I love that you canned chicken thighs, those are my favorite. I don't know if I mentioned this, but I am somewhat new to canning and everything new I can learn is so much help to me. I had been hearing pro's and con's on the Tattler lids and it sounds to me that maybe the method you showed is what some are missing. Finger tight and back off a little then tighten when taking out of the caner. Makes sense to me. Thanks Vickie and Happy New Year to you and your family.

Great video! This past week I found an amazing deal on leg quarters at 29¢ a pound... I bought 40 pounds ($11.06 plus tax). I brought them home and stuck case and all in the freezer (I was afraid that if I didn't I wouldn't get to them fast enough and loose them). I am thinking that I would precook about half of them and pick the meat and refreeze it for soups and casseroles, and make stock with the bones. Then with 10 pound of it try canning it near the end of January. I have yet to use my pressure canner, and I want to get a little familiar with it before attempting meat. However at the price I got this for, if it fails, it will only be about $3.00 loss. You stated that you were par-cooking these. How many did you have, and how long did you cook them? (and did you boil them?)

Could Tattler Lids be used as replacements lids for mason jar lids that have rusted? Do you recommend buying stainless steel replacement rings or Tattler rings? I am not familiar with these items. Appreciate your thoughts before I purchase them. Thanks much!

I bought a 23q presto for ALOT and when I took it out of the box it has a rounded bottom. I contacted the seller and they said the manufacturer says it's fine 🤷‍♀️ I'm kinda nervous
