I love having the measurements on the jars, it sucks Bernardin doesn't do that. The chicken looks gorgeous girl!

Everything turned out beautiful! Wish I could be that organized when I can! I am usually got several projects going! I’ve canned raw pack and par cooked. I prefer the texture of par cooked much better. If I raw pack it’s chicken with bone. But that is amazing too. I think you use different ones for different dishes. Lovely Video! I must have the sister to your jar, I had one of my 24 oz jar have that same bubble in the middle of the glass. I did not use mine either. Was too worried it would shatter in the pressure canner. Thank you for this video Michele. Love all your posts: I am a lefty too, and you are right, just depends on the angle.

Looks great! I like the Bernardin jars since they look prettier with some of the glass designs and the name . I’ve never even paid any attention to the measurement markings on Balls 🤦

Great job on this. I totally get the voiceover thing. I have to do that fairly often because it can be hard to find quiet when I want to record.

I just did this procedure earlier today. Thank you for sharing this. I was a bit concerned when I could smell it processing. I don't normally smell the food once my canner is closed.. I thought I had siphoning. Alas, there was no siphoning. I did 8 pints of chicken and 2 pints of black beans to fill up my 23 qt Presto.

I usually can a jar of beans when I’m short and add chicken broth instead of water. Sooo good! I’m interested as to why you can water as I had not done that before?

Very interesting, and yes, the "fuzzy bits" in the raw pack is a bit of a turnoff. I will definitely give this a go. Do you keep your canned water? "We will not falter - We will not fail." Thanks for the video. God Bless Stay Safe

Why would you shove it down if it were a raw pack? Because the meat will shrink more?
