How to measure Continuity?

1)Turn the rotary switch to the “ Resistance / Continuity / Diode ” symbol and select the Continuity function by "FUNC."
2)Insert the red lead in the upper right red terminal, insert the black lead in the lower right “COM” black terminal.
3)Connect the test leads to the source or circuit in parallel to be measured. Touch the anode with the red lead, the black lead contacts the cathode.
4)Read the measurement result on the screen.

Mine (same kaiweets unit) doesn't measure continuity very well, unreliable when testing kill switches and grounds, often doesn't register or respond when touching opposite ends/surface contacts with the pointy leads where my 5 dollar aaa battery powered continuity test light will always light up.

My unit came with continuity mode broken, constant beep without the terminal touching. I guess a short somewhere. Seller gave me 1 day warranty, which was impossible so... $30 down the drain. Need to stop buying Chinese products
