Dynamic Forms with Big Buttons for Data Entry in Microsoft Access, Part 6

In this Microsoft Access tutorial, I will show you how to add a cancel button to a dynamic form with big buttons for data entry, ensuring users can exit gracefully. This is part 6.

Silver Members & up get access to an Extended Cut of this video. In the extended cut, we will build a custom function called OpenBigButtonForm. I will show you how to set parameters like record source, ID field name, button text, where condition, and colors. This will simplify the process for future use, making it easier to create and customize big button forms. We'll also add color parameters for the forms.

Really good.. needs quite a bit of practice.. I'm saying this because others might also need to rewatch this series a couple of times and pre- requisites to catch up... is up to speed still a legit phrase this day and age?... Anyway happy programming.. 👍

Good afternoon Richard. I am a fan of your work, I am very interested in the question of whether it is possible to insert a photo into “Dynamic Forms with Big Buttons for Data Entry in Microsoft Access” when choosing a car. So that a photo of each car can be seen visually. Thank you in advance if you do not ignore my question.

I have a question re the Cancel you click on it it closes the form but what if you chose the Make then realise you chose wrong Make when on the Model form wouldnt it be best to have the Cancel button go back to the Make form instead of closing...Same for if you chose a Model and then pressed Cancel on the Year that made though.... Would a Back button on the Model and Year form be a good idea as well as having Cancel on Each form....Cancel could be to cancel the whole thing and a Back button to go back to the previous form. Basically on the Make form have the Cancel button but on the Model and Year form have the Cancel AND Back buttons. (I have the adult form of Autism so explaining things can be difficult)

Copy and paste.
A programmers best friend and worst enemy. So easy to fall for that not changing elements after pasting.
