How to Fix Choppy Blurry Movement Action Scenes on Samsung TVs, which occurs when there is fast action scenes and the Expert Settings Motion Blur is turned on.

Let me start off by saying I have several older Samsung TV's, they all have been great. A couple of weeks ago I purchased the Q80T after hours of research and exploring my options I was sure I found the best TV for sports. All of the reviews gave this TV two thumbs up, however I quickly noticed the stuttering issues while watching hockey and baseball. Once the issue caught my eye I fixated on it and started to also find cable channels that were unwatchable. After hours of toying with the settings and trolling AV forums it was apparent that the Q80T's stuttering issue could not be resolved without the help of Samsung and a firmware update. Since I was still within my return window I decided to take this TV back for a Sony X950H. The strong buyers remorse was quickly replaced with a TV I plugged in and could enjoy good looking television, sports and movies. Sony takes the cake with the motion handling.

I have an old Samsung TV and had no problems at all. I purchased a new Samsung TV just after Xmas and I see like a blurred portion either at the top or the bottom sometimes on fast scenes. It's horrible. It's happened a lot and all Samsung say is the tv needs to be reset. I can't keep on resetting my TV!

Since we seem to have the same exact TV, can I ask if you know how to fix pixelated and blurry screens when watching sports? Every motion a player makes just looks like a bunch of pixels bunched together. It’s so annoying and can’t seem to find a fix.

Id like to know why you have this option to choose from on my samsung tv everything under Sharpness is grey and wont let me click it, states "This function isnt available" any help would be nice thanks

I have the Samsung 7 series... The jitter occurs 2 to 3 secs... On all moving items, can be noticed on the News channel when the news statement are moving from right to left at the bottom of the screen...

So im facing small lag or frame drop kinda thing in netflix (qn90a tv) in fast moving scenes so i put Juttering to zero it worked

The problem is that if you are watching HDR content and you turn motion settings OFF the picture is not smooth as it used to be. So there is a give and take here.
