Just incase anyone is having no sound, and you have the microphone remote, click the microphone button on the remote. The microphone button that you would normally use for Alexea or whoever. Just try it clicking it once or twice and see if your sound comes back.

That worked for me

Buddy, thanks so much. Sometimes the most obvious an simple things fix the problem. Reset sound in expert settings on my samsung tv made my Skullcandy headphones connect. I tried, read, and watched a lot of options with no success. Your video fixed the problem. Thanks a ton !!!

Thanks it worked for my TV. Mine was a little distorted. And I never have my volume over 23 usually it's around 18 so surely I couldn't have blown a speaker. After the reset it immediately sounded clear. Many thanks 👍

Hello ~ Thank You for sharing this information. Is there a way to set the "volume" (behind the scenes) so the person with the remote cannot raise the volume past 75% ? We have an elderly parent who sits in front of the TV all day - with the volume at 100% - and gets angry if we lower the volume. Yet - in normal daily conversation, she can hear just fine. As long as she sees 100 on the screen, she is fine. Do you have any thoughts?

The sound is faint on different streams, but I can hear your video loud and clear.

Thank you. The issue I have is that I cannot get the eARC HDMI sound work on my Samsung TV. After choosing the HDMi option in the sound menu, the sound goes to surround sound system but after about 7 seconds it reverts back to TV speaker. I have tried all sorts of different ways to resolve but it doesn’t stay on the HDMI output/surround system.
No problem with listening with my Bluetooth ear pods. I wondered if you have a solution. Thanks. 🙏🏼

Just got the QLED 65" Q60C and set up Bixby which cause the TV speakers to go kaput. Tried Reset sound couple of times ... nada. Self diagnostics told to contact "Samsung Call Center"... yeah thanks. Comments here reminded me to unplug and plug which worked. Thanks guys much appreciated.

Do you know why my Reset Sound function would be unavailable? It’s greyed out and says “this function isn’t available.” The sound on my tv is fine but my Bluetooth audio is super choppy. I’ve tried disconnecting the airpods a couple times but it still cuts in and out; my AirPods work on every device so it’s definitely something with my tv. Any help would be appreciated.
