You should also stretch the strings after bringing them up to retune. A trick I learned off an old Tommy Emmanuel instructional video.

Yamaha man my f310 acoustic has two drill holes where tuning screws are so tuning pegs keep coming out the wood neck and now they won’t go back in was best way to fix this just a wooden plug (dowel)?

My string/bridge pins don't seem to hold the string in place no matter what I do. Any tips?
