I've downloaded the development kit but now I can't find the file in my java folder. It isn't there. I downloaded a jre and that shows up but jdk doesn't. what does that mean?

You can go to Control Panel, and then System. It will tell you what processor architecture you have. Also, downloading and installing Java will not harm anything on your computer.

i installed java in my lap..but there is an problem while saving program in bin folder(it was in c drive)..it shows an warning message like access denied..while compiling also it throws an error like "error while writing hai(file name):hai.class(access is denied)"...pls help me
