Terrified kayaker films great white shark stalking him [RAW]

A kayaker in New Zealand paddled for his life while being stalked for several minutes by a great white shark. Wells said the shark looked about 4.5 meters long, which is more than 14 feet. Wells was about 4 kilometers (roughly 2.5 miles) away from a beach when the shark started following him, which equated to about an hour-long paddle for him.

Wells said the shark followed him for about 8 minutes.

I was rooting for the shark.
You go into the ocean in a small kayak FISHING, acted all surprised when a great white swam up on you, and then threw a water bottle into the ocean to get you out of a predicament you willingly put yourself in and then started to beg for your life. Humans are so stupid.

Jaws was my fav film ever..silly to go out in a flimsy boat..you were eye candy a tasty treat ..best not to show the fear in your voice or keep quiet as the vibrations from your voice and movements put you on his radar as prey.

Here’s a thought. You see that large land mass 100 yards away on your left? Paddle towards it. Here’s my thinking I’m pretty sure sharks can’t walk on land. Now we all know they can be in tornados but that’s in the sky.

Paddling and splashing and sending all sorts of 'wounded fish' signals, big mistake.Just sit still, let it nose around, see you weren't what it wanted to chew on, and it would've left you alone. If I was that shark, I'd have followed you too.🥴
