I left my job and got a 30% increase at the next job. Loyalty to companies doesn’t pay.

I quit my job during high pandemic in summer 2020, and have been working for myself full time, make the same amount. Not more just YET! But definitely equal. And projecting a big increase in revenue in 2022. ☺️☺️☺️

I was working in the pharmaceutical field as a researcher for a small company. I was getting paid wayyyy under the market value. I asked my employer for a $2k increase in salary and was denied. I started looking for a new job that day. I now work at a bigger pharmaceutical company and increase my salary $50k !!! I’m making 6 figures at 24. TAKE THE RISK

I left my job at entry level position. I was gone a few months and they offered me a raise and promotion to come back. It was wonderful. Now I can afford my first house.

I definitely had the salary jump happen. My old job was not compensating for my Masters, so I found one that required a Master's, and got a 20k jump.

Yes! Give yourself a raise by getting a new job. I went from 50k to 80k on two years and I would do it again. No loyalty to companies that don’t see your value.

I got 2 job offers, one was not that exciting but the money was great, the other was super exciting but the money was not so good, I got the balls to explain to them my situation and managed to negotiate a whole 10k from the original salary they were offering. Lesson: shoot your shot!

I quit my job right when Covid started tearing through the world and things were shutting down. I moved from a big food service company to the agricultural industry. I stayed in finance and since my switch in March of 2020 my pay has almost doubled without a degree. That held me back at my last job although they knew I could do the work they never gave it to me but my new company saw my potential and have on numerous occasions have talked about my no degree and how I completely understand how to do the job. My first week I was reconciling all kinds of accounts and honestly I couldn’t be happier with my switch. My pay now would’ve taken me years to reach at my old employer and I would’ve met the max pay now I have no max pay and working on my degree in finance.

It's so true that we want a luxury lifestyle without going broke. The amount of times I've thought about that Chanel bag but then felt bad about it because I know my money can be spent on better things is BEYOND insane! 😩🤣

If you are in Tech, it’s important you change jobs regularly to upskill yourself as well as to make money.. my last job change resulted in a £25k increase .. The minimum pay rise I have had from role change is £11k and most is £25k..Also never take the first offer, negotiate! Negotiate!…it’s time to be brave Ladies…

The salary jump happened to my dad. He'd asked for a raise and was denied, and then he got headhunted by an ex-colleagure who offered him £10k. Suddenly his workplace was offering him £5k to stay and my dad was like "Where was this when I asked? lol

Inner peace and self love is the real bag! People flaunt luxuries on insta..but be unhappy once they post that picture and dont even know themselves and be lost in real life. Its not that deep

Don't be afraid of second hand! Second hand leather, second hand bags, even second hand designer clothes for a very reasonable price. Afraid of germs? That's what dry cleaners are for! I'm in designer clothes every day and nobody knows that not a stitch is brand new ;)

I was offered a job in a similar role. I told my employer and I got a 10K pay rise because they didn’t want me to leave.

A spending plan (budget) is KEY. Also building these habits regardless of income level is so important!

I am 35, mom of 3. I was a social worker for years and last year I decided to quit my job and start a business school to change my life, work in what I am passionate about and of course, earn more money.
Thanks for this wonderful video.

I have a maintenance account for myself. In that account I set aside funds for my wants. Purchasing land (real estate) is my luxury.
