I feel there should be an additional dumb decision for calling the first down qb draw.

Scoring before the 2 min warning was more important than scoring a td vs field goal. They damn near ran out of time with the following play ending at 2:01

If you were planning on kicking it off instead of going for the onside kick, they you should kick the FG before the 2 minute warning. Doing that give you 2 clock stopages as opposed to just 1.

I was baffled by this on Sunday. It's like telling your whole locker room that you're not even trying to win.

I thought it was stupid kicking the FG to begin with. Yes you need two scores so you either have to convert the 4th down and hopefully recover an onside kick or take the three and DEFINITELY recover an onside kick. Having 20 seconds to score a TD or 20 seconds to get in FG range is immensely different. Especially in DENVER were mid field is at least close enough to try.

Understanding clock management seems to be the bane of many an NFL head coach. That said, this decision makes Mike McArthy look good…and that says a lot!

I prefer trying for the TD rather than the FG. If you cant score a TD there then how are you going the length of the pitch and getting one in 10 seconds. Much easier to get into field goal range in that amount of time.

If the best option to close out the game for the Steelers was running, I could see kicking it deep in hopes of forcing a fumble down the field. Might even have better odds of the onside kick.
