The Giants need a clean sweep of GM and coaches. Yes "the guys play hard" and they don't have anything on either line, but this is just an especially egregious example of many, many horrible play calls. It is tough to be a Giants fan, tougher still if he isn't fired.

Running a quarterback sneak on second down is stupid enough, but to do it again on the next play after it didn't work the first time is proof of Einstein's definition of insanity. The Joe Judge who played first base for the Washington Nationals in the 1920s could have done a better job.

As a giants fan, I’m appalled at Joe Judge. Mike Judge from Beavis and Butthead could have called a better sequence of plays. Look.. I get that he supposedly has the respect of the fellas in the locker room. But after this crap? Forget it. However I see judge staying one more year. I hope to god I’m wrong

When I saw this, the first thing that came to my mind was Jim Tomsula's last game as 49ers coach. They were 4-11 and playing the 7-8 Rams, with both teams having been eliminated. It was tied late, the 49ers were driving for the potential winning score and on a 4th and 4 from the Rams 37 with 1:43 left (according to Pro Football Reference), Tomsula elected to punt. And I guess technically, it worked out. The game went to OT and the 49ers won. But given the meaningless nature of the game, it just made no sense.

Same thought here. Play the scenarios out in your mind. What's the worst that happens? A safety? A pick six? You're eliminated. And the team you're playing is also eliminated. Have a little fun. At least try to give the ball to Barkley or maybe have Fromm do a QB draw. That at least has the possibility of catching the WFT defense off guard.
