This is without doubts the best SCCM deployment guide on internet. The only missing part I would like to see is info about how to setup gMSA for SQL services. I know It's not really necessary but I like to deploy everything as best practice even if it's only in lab environment. I learn much more this way. I love how you explain why you do different things and how it can affect SCCM.

An FYI if you are coming here in 2019, the WinPE part of the ADK is now a seperate install, so if you don't see that option, that's why. This should be listed on the ADK's page .

Excelent video, thank you very much. The only thing not mentioned that got me confused, was the collation needed SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS unless you are using a Chinese operating system. If you forget that, say goodbye to that instance and start a new one.

Awesome video! For years I had difficulty finding a reliable video and yesterday was the first time I got this installed and configured successfully per your pre requisites that did not get discussed in other videos!!!

So far, this is the best video showing step-by-step and rich in detail, how to climb an SCCM lab using best practices. When finished, I will also perform the post configuration with SCCM ready. One question I had was what precedes the SCCM process, which would be the AD. Do you also have a step of building the AD using best practices? Because I would love to set up a lab using best practices so I can practice and get more knowledge about it.

Thanks for this video!
I have an advice for anyone starting out on this, have a test environment.
I started out with this and so many things were vague, but I dove in using a test environment. Had issues, troubleshot them, resolved many and learned a lot. When I was ready to build a production system, this was CRYSTAL Clear as day and I saw through the mistakes I mad on the test system and it was a smooth sailing.

Great video, thank you! The only thing I can say is that you didn't point out changing the collation when setting up SQL

The best tutorial. Very detailed, and I'd say this series would help land someone a SCCM related job.

I would suggest adding an annotation for installing sql with Collate setting SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AI, but apart from that, this is one hell of a great tutorial! Much appreciated!

Dont forget change the collection during the SQL Server installation to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS, this prevent an error in SCCM installation

This was fantastic!! Professionally done. I do need to put on my Editor's Cap and comment. You have drives G: and H: reversed. Early on in the video (under 5 minutes) you have SQL_TempDB assigned to H: and SQL_WSUS_Database assigned to G: During the SQL Database Engine Configuration, you assign the path for the TempDB to G:\Database.
