I remember when I was using this when I started making gaming videos. I was so frustrated at how limited it was. I needed something more so I got Sony Vegas. This is, for sure, I great tool for people who are new to video editing for sure, but if you want to start getting big on Youtube, you will HAVE to use something more powerful. Great video and you will have to forgive me for not watching the whole thing. :)

windows movie maker looks like a great thing for me who knows nothing about editing.. i want to a video of me bbqing and then edit it nothing fancy.. this looks easy to use even for a guy like me. thanks this was very good

how about if u put photos and music together to make a vid and u are tryna edit  to and crop only parts of the song, is there a straightforward way to do this? it used to have a cropping tool but i think its discontinued....

Are there any music options to choose for a specific historical demonstration? I mean if we want to pick a particular music for historical or geographical demonstration?

How do you sign in??? i click the youtube button and i sign in with my correct gmail and password but it says its wrong...

I am not able to save my project. .whenever i do this and try to play after saving, it just shows a black screen with music but the pictures are undisplayed . . .

heyyy!! this is very helpful!! I have a handy cam and the videos are on my sd card...but the sound only plays...no image...I am lost on how to import the videos from my sd card...running off of windows 8

I "added photos & videos" to Movie Maker from a Pictures folder, which I edited to "date taken - ascending". When I open Movie Maker, they are out of order. How can I keep the same order?

When I made my first video, it came out very choppy. >.< I semi know how to use windows movie maker. It is basic and should be easy to use, but i guess some peeps get lost but that's alright. Thanks for making another tutorial.

how did you actually make this video, like where you had you in the corner and what was on your screen, cause i would like to do that but using video's and and a live web cam of me. If not, i do have a back-up plan

I love Windows Live Movie Maker, but every once in a while.  My video playback screen stays black when I add my photos and video. The sound works, I can drop photos and video into the "Drag Video" area.  But none of it will play back, but I can hear the sound.  Any suggestions?

I cant upload it. SOmething about the .Wm somthing and it tells me to change it into one of the .stuff. It tells mw how to do it but.... one of the steps is that you need to go to save movie and press recamend project, but I cant find it. I went to the save movie thing but  I cant find the Recommend preject option.

How do you zoom in without pan and just focus on one part of the screen and highlight areas on the screen where that specific box area stays light and everything else gets darker? like in 3:25

How do you upload it to youtube? And I dont have a microsoft account and when I clicked high defination thing and I save it, I go on youtube I click upload and put the video there but it says they dont use the file thing. What do i do???
