Just a small nit. There is absolutely no reason to ever refer to a directory as a "folder". There is no such thing as a "folder". There's no need to play mental gymnastics in order to accommodate both descriptions when we know that 1 of them is completely invalid.. The term "folders" was introduced as part of Microsoft's clear and obvious tactics to dominate market share by teaching users habits they'd carry with them for decades (and teach others). It's the same thing Apple does on the keyboard with their ridiculous Command and Options keys. Learn to recognize and avoid these traps and stick with the standards. This does look like an interesting piece of work and I'm looking forward to spending some time checking it out. Thumbs up.
