The Nasty Soup can only be scooped if you light the fire under the pot during the part of the tutorial where you're chasing after Talo. If you light the fire then, the cutscene is longer with the guy thanking you for lighting the fire and offering to let you scoop from his soup pot if you have an empty bottle.

Back in 98, when I was a kid, both my dad and I did attempt to take Ingo's horse. What we found is 1) Ingo's horse cannot build up enough speed to jump the taller fence in the pasture. 2) While riding Ingo's horse we were able to trigger the race with Ingo(though it took slightly longer and we had to pay to ride more times) and we could win the first race but the second race we would always lose. I have no proof but I suspect the second race is coded to always have the player lose if they are not riding Epona.

In Oot, you can cancel the wall masters shadow by jump slashing. The shadow will reset every time

In Ocarina of Time, you can get to the Forest Temple without dealing with any Moblins. There is a Hookshot Scarecrow at the beginning of the Sacred Forest Meadow labyrinth that you can use to bypass the entire maze and not have to deal with any of the Goblins except the big one with the club at the end, which you can just squeeze past to the side without fighting if you wanted to.

I always thought it was weird that Hyrule field was more dangerous as a kid than as an adult.

There's a known glitch on the Internet for years on OOT, did you know that on the N64 version, you can go to Zora's domain as an adult and then go to the right side of King zora, the corner there, walk into it then jump slash it with the sword continually. You can break through it after several times then you're on the other side. You can run blindly around in the dark and toward the waterfall (rupee game area) then fall under the ice pond that way

TotK Myth: You can get multiple dragon shards if you land on top of them and walk around collecting them.

I did this with Farosh and got like 13 shards.

It probably works with Dinraal and Naydra too. Much better than one shard per encounter!

More of a fun 3DS only bug, but if you get any horse and start the race just let him run ahead, once he deloads you can win both races without racing as you run the empty track it will count, so by the end any horse becomes Epona.

Woah! I just remembered, in one playthrough I did as a teenager I remember NATURALLY knocking a Moblin into the water in the Sacred Forest Meadow! I was really amused by it, found it funny it still acted normal, haha.

In the N64 version of Majora's mask, there are 3 recovery hearts that seem to be unaccessible on top of one of the roofts in the pirate's fortress.

HERES AND IDEA, you actually can get Epona back in majoras mask on the first day without the race if you give her a picture of a cow

in the windwaker's windfall island there's a group of 4 kids, in the original GC version you can push these kids down that one path leading down to the salesman, if you push them just the right way down there they will clip out of bounds, if you manage to clip the boss out of bounds all 3 of his friends will follow him otherwise they'll fall down 1 by 1, it's a really fun glitch since if you talk to the boss or any other member while there are out of bounds members the camera will not know how to handle the situation anymore

also playing the sun/night song infront of the salesman's shop somehow makes the game play the ocean theme if you go from night to day

for majora's mask there's also Romani's return from the aliens at the dusk/night of day 2 she will spawn in a grass patch close to the house and walk around there... but if you interact with her you'll notice her empty gaze and her only dialogue is "..." but it's an obscure detail which is kind of cool yet eerie and shows how much the devs actually cared about details

Too bad about Ingo's horse. I had heard there was special dialogue if you try to steal his horse. Something along the line of "Hey! Come back here!"
Also I laughed my ass off at the Hinox getting its ass handed to him by Cuccos. What else can Cuccos do? 😃

That last one has been known for decades. I had a picture of one that I "encountered" was extremely tall, but I lost it years ago.

1. You can use the hookshot in OOT to stun both redead and Likelikes to be able to handle these enemies easily
2. Also in OOT you can use Naryu's love to keep the redead from latching on to you the likelikes can't eat you either with it on and the floor masters can't attach to you either after you split it into 3
3. If you use the megaton hammer on the business scrubs they will all pop out instantly without the need to use your shield
4. In Majora's Mask you can bounce the magic shot at you from the mini boss wizrobe with the mirror shield.
5. In Majora's Mask if you have the Goron mask bombs and the hook shot and bomb jump over into ocean area and clear that spider house you actually get the adult wallet before the giant wallet and then when you give 200 rupees to the bank teller you get the giant wallet I have footage of this last one I will upload to my channel
