This is a very poor diagnosis. Postmodernism is not the issue at all, it’s the plain observation that the text of the Bible is demonstrably not clear.

I think it may also have to do with the fact we frequently don’t always understand the original context well at all. This is why we have people who specialize in biblical studies and archeology, who can help the church understand the text as it was originally meant to be read.

Also, at times, blind adherence to dogma (regardless of denomination) can also cause issues with interpretation.
