fun fact: ha cao is the vietnamese term for har gow~ I learned this when I was in london q'd for a very popular pho spot called "phat phuc noodle bar" where they had shrimp hacao on the menu and I asked .. are these the same as har gow? and the chef replied: yes. ok that is all.

Nice video. I steamed it on the stove and it tasted great!

Steaming it is the way to go. It will help with avoiding the rice dumpling skin from drying out.
