Something I've learned as I got older; Beer before liquor, never sicker. Beer before xanax, how did we get to Milwaukee?

Stay away from these prescription pills and just smoke some bud.

I was prescribed Xanax for my anxiety and insomnia problems and on top of that, Ritalin for my ADHD . At first Xanax works wonderfully, but as times goes, I feel a sense of derealization and depersonalisation when I forget to take my Ritalin. It’s as if my brain has slow down and I couldn’t concentrate, and my anxiety was off the roof. I have managed to get off Xanax by tapping down the dose . Benzodiazepines are not something to mess with . The withdrawal is worse than you took it the first time for any conditions .

I am always edgy, restless, and I can never fall asleep. I’ve never taken Xanax though

I had to sign up for rehab after taking Xanax for about 3 years. Coming off these meds was hell I went to the E.R twice because of the withdraw. It took me 2 weeks to start to feel a little better. It is Soo addicting, I was fooling myself into thinking this wasn't addicting. I thank God for walking with me during this torment of detox.

It's terrible, I'm six weeks clean and I couldn't be happier to be over the major physical withdrawals. It's absolute hell, it really feels like you're going crazy while waves of anxiety that get stronger and STRONGER hit you as your shaking and sweating.

I was on it when I graduated back in ‘14. Pretty bad too. I was taking 10 blues at once. 3 times a day sometimes twice a day. That was 4 years ago and now I’m 3 and 1/2 years sober.

I started doing drugs years ago as a teenage, got addicted to heroin. Spent my whole life fighting heroin addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with OCD. Not until my mom recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

It never made me feel like that, all it did for me was take my panic attack away and if you have never had a panic attack, you have no idea what it's like.

I've stayed away from "illegal" drugs my entire life. I have serious OCD that acts up when I get overly anxious or angry, anger problems I have too.
One day I put two and two together and asked my nut doctor, "if I take something to calm my anxiety, wouldn't that help with the OCD?". He said, "yeah, good idea", and I've been on Xanax for about 15 years.
15 years ago, I was taking 3mg per day. Once I sold my business, I was calmer and cut it down to 2 mg per day, and never went back to 3mg.
Eventually, I cut it to 1 1/2 mg because stress on my life slowed, and quite often I get through the day with just 1mg. Yes, bad boy, I was self-prescribing, but I knew that less is better so my body wouldn't become used to it and need to increase. My therapist suggested going back to 2mg because apparently, as I sat in his chair, he saw something in me that I didn't, so it was 1mg twice per day.
I guess here's my point. There are times when I go too long without taking my second dose and I begin to feel agitated, angry, and the OCD picks up. I actually feel like the old me, just me with all my faults, but still, me and it's not such a bad thing. I hold out as long as I can, enjoy being my old self, but then I finally give in and take that second dose.
And that's my story.

I've been taking half of the blue circle ones for years. One half per day. Never have increased my dose, never have experienced anything other than memory issues (which does suck, I wont lie! But panic attacks are WAY WAY WORSE) and the euphoric feeling is wonderful.
