Outlook 2010 - Move and Copy Messages to a Folder

Hi, thank you for taking the time to create this video what you are demonstrating is moving MSG to a folder, not copying from one folder and putting them in another so that you have a copy in one folder and a another copy in another folder. If you have the answer to this this would be very useful in the old days I used to select bunch of emails and then right click and choose copy, ( or cntl C), then I would go to the folder that I wanted and would left click and use the paste (or cntl V)

Hi, I had the same problem with Outlook 2007 and found the solution: Just hold ctrl key while doing the drag and drop. This will copy the mail instead of moving it. I hope this also works for newer versions of Outlook.

I'm having a problem with moving emails. I'm able to move emails from inbox to personal folder using techniiques shown in this video, but when i open my personal folder, the email is not there. I'm able to search for these emails and in search it is shown in the personal folder. but the thing is that none of these emails appear in the personal folder when i open it.
