The modern day 9-5 job has become a recipe for burnout!

It has become a Fast-paced work environment with little to no breaks in between work
- Strict deadlines and multiple tasks to juggle all at once
- High customer service expectations from the client all the time
- Long commutes in traffic (up to 2 hours!) leaving you spent
- Repeat this cycle day whole week in and day out, with no end in sight

And to make matters worse, some countries are even adopting a 9-6 workday! Moving away from the 9-5 working hours.

Nailed it .

Regarding IT managers with Narcissistic personality disorder, they always over look long term goals of organization. Over hiring in IT and the hype is killing youth's ability to find better careers of their interests.

Managers need to be smart.

If there's anything becoming obsolete, it is the role of management.

Companies must ask, how many people do they need sitting around 98% of the time doing nothing but scheduling unnecessary meetings, one-on-ones, and performance evaluations. 😳

you say all truth, in Germany and Croatia is the same, before they were better and tried to introduced person to a job slowly and now they fire people for a single thing like not having understood something in the first 2 months - immediatelyfire instead of organizing short training by senior coleagues!

I really supppot the ineffecient manager point, as i have personally seen now a days not MNC but many startups tends to hire untrained, underqualified, managers for cost cutting and that what leads to massive organization politics wrong feesbacks, wrong hiring, and frustrated subordinates who leaves organization because of them, lots of firing and organization face huge losses in pre sales, winning recurring contracts too
Thanks for video and bringing lot of good points

I always learn something new from your videos. Totally agree, chase skills - not the company.

Apart from US, many European countries also have quick fire policy like 7 days or 15 days layoff. But it should be noted that people in these countries get payment from government everyday even if they are jobless and useless. e.g. Finland pays Euro 37 per day to each jobless citizen of their country. Thats the reason such countries charge 50 to 60% income tax on the gross income including for expats. But in India half the money collected by the government goes in corruption and the other half is diverted to either industrialist or below poverty line schemes to lure their votes. A working middleman gets only peanuts. Apart from investment, family support and some basic education & skill, there is no booster for a common man in this country. Even with your friends and social network, not everyone would willingly help you because either they can't or you are their competitor at some point of time.

Ma'am its true No one really care both on and off campus whether he/she is a fresher, joining industrial training from university, Indian Coporate sector Sucks so that's my more Indians fled to abroad for jobs. Conditions are getting worse after pandemic. As a post-graduate of 2023, I can say that big packages are futile which can toll stress as well as health. We need to be relaxed, just only Money and Skills is the survival so that he/she can spend time for family and travel. I hope you will comprehend Ma'am as your subscriber.

So basically.. companies... board of directors want to squeeze the employees...to the core. it is our duty as employees to save ourselves from them and build income sources to offset the living cost...😅

Varsha it's a fresh breath of air that you made the video on this topic. I am into IT, and I knew this is going to happen with the advent of AI. I am fairly investing in T shaped skillset or M shaped skillset. I know tech, finance, operations, some HR ops as well and all I learned this by taking some risk at startups early in my career. Now I know how to quickly ramp up operations of a company so that it scales faster.

I'm working in one field since approximately 10 years, planning now to switch in an entirely new career; taking online courses, I'm 40+, lived and studied abroad, this was spot on !!

You are not only a career coach, rather you should be called a life coach.

This is true only for service sector. Agreed that it is the most highlighted/glamorised sector in India, but the core sector jobs are still stable
