Yabushige is one of those rare traitors who are one, entertaining, and just down right funny. Without him, I feel like I’m missing someone.

Yabushige is a very entertaining character to watch! And the actor potrays his fence-sitting sly humourous persona very well! What a great final scene - with Toranaga and Yabhushige conversing on the cliff. True chills!
And Yabushige's knowing beserker smile at the end❤ chef's kiss!

I cant blame him, when the earthquake came their was no guarantee that torinaga can beat ishido. In essence he is the mvp because if mariko did not die their is no way that torinaga would win.
