One Sided Limits, Example 1 : Piecewise Defined Function Example

In this video we look at finding a one sided limit given a piecewise defined function. In order to find the limit we must choose the appropriate 'piece' of the function depending on whether our limit approaches the given value from the left or from the right.
This is a typical limit type of question in calculus and relates to continuity.

@dablaire89 it has an open circle because the equation for greater than one does not include 1 it has strickly x- values greater than 1.  where as the other equation says that it is valid for x values of 1 and lower but including 1
