Does this type of stretcher put pressure on the back of the boot (potentially making the ankle area wider) while it is raising or enlarging the instep?
Also can this stretcher raise the area farther down towards (but not at) the toe box?

I have one of these and when I use it, the screw comes out the bottom and leaves an impression or even a hole in the footbed. Any suggestions?
