The expungement statement is incorrect. A felon can have a pardon with the right to posess, transport in commerce a firearm included. The record is still viewable by law enforcement. When filling out the 4473 form you are required to answer you haven't been convinced if you have a pardon

In Chicago and New York, it is near impossible to get a gun license. But criminals still carry. So it doesn't matter what the law says. Criminals don't follow the law. That's why no license carry is perfect. Regular citizens can carry a gun and defend themselves. Which makes it more dangerous for criminals.

And for all the people thinking everyone will just start shooting anyone they see with a gun during a gun crime. You have no common sense. Because a legally armed citizen would want to train and practice. They willingly spend money to train from actual firearms instructors. Criminals don't. Constitutional carry will give citizens a fighting chance against criminals. Because police are only hours away. And as we've all seen the Uvalde police. They waited and detained those who were willing to stop the shooter at all cost. So please stand behind the Uvalde police, support them and praise their actions. And tell the parents and spouse's of the victims in the school shooting to shut up.
