If the business owner "took care of the problem" the cops would show up in 15 mins to help this poor criminal and arrest the store owner, all us working people need to boycott paying taxes for a year and watch the gov crumble. Can't arrest us all

The betrayal is so much worst than what she's saying. A business owner in SF, or really any big city, literally CAN'T do anything to stop this. They'll be sued or prosecuted. A business owner in SF is a bigger victim of the system than anyone else. The criminal is protected by the law, the business has no protections whatsoever.

When it was "my turn" I was intentionally rammed by a driver who, after purposefully swerving into my lane and colliding with my car head on, just drove away. I called 911 and, surprisingly, got an almost immediate response. But, when it was discovered that I wasn't dead or mutilated, I too received the low priority treatment. The police report, which took nearly three months to get ahold of was so shodily written that the insurance company dismissed me as a liar who had concocted a story to cover up my own culpability. My car was totaled and ended up in a junkyard, I spent the night in a hospital and my claim was denied. Since then I've come to rely on the only sure fire protective measure for insuring that one doesn't end up a crime statistic of San Francisco: stay as far away from there as possible. The only thing SF has to offer anyone that few others have to offer is loss of life, limb and property at the hands of a professional criminal underclass who operate with zero accountability.

The 911 operator who answered the second time and said, "Look, you are just not a priority, " was honest and transparent. This goes for SFPOA President Tracy McCray as well. Transparency and acceptance are important for assessing the current situation.  Remember, the homeless, drug addicts, and criminals are a "hero class, " and denying these heroes food or products from your store is frowned upon, and these people will retaliate for this lack of respect. They are used to getting what they want when they want it.

Vote for a mayor who selects a chief of police that will enforce the laws. You'll also need to vote in a prosecutor who will hand down harsher penalties. Ultimately, elect a pro law enforcement governor who doesn't invite crime cartels to our state.
