Hearing Focuses on San Francisco Police Department Staffing Levels

Members of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors on Thursday heard from the city’s police department regarding current staffing levels. Ginger Conejero Saab reports.

Who wants to be an officer in a city that lets most criminals go. Before the officer is even done with his report.

Why would anyone want to be a police officer in SF? The Mayor, DA, and City Council don’t back you up and will throw you under the bus in an instant.

Increase their pay, show them that you care, get rid of non cash bail, prosecute crime, those would all be good steps to take.

As someone who was in the sfpd academy it is tough character building. You can always go back if you fail. I respect what they do but I learned it's not for me.
