Those numbers went down because officers have disengaged from policing. The story doesn’t draw a connection between skyrocketing crime and the drop in police engagements.

It means the police is not doing their job. If they just let criminals go without doing anything, of course the number will come down. Not totally their fault though if the judges will let the criminals go the next day, if not the same day. Why bother???😂
