I used to be workaholic - slept at the office and worked over the weekend. But the consequent of this was burnout after burnout and I was demotivated for months. I quit and traveled to Thailand. Gosh, I was missing on having a life.

I have done that unconsciously all my life and now I have 7 university degrees, speak 4 languages and have achieved more than I expected. And I am going for more!

I did that when I was 18 and totally crashed. Never been the same person since. It's crazy, this was 18 years ago.

I second this, its not about putting yourself under a lot of stress, you should be able to take some of the work with a grain of salt and to prioritise some work over other work. But it's easier to be productive when there is a lot to do than when you are stuck in a rut.

Sounds like a recipe for a definite burnout..😅 Also what I wonder in this type of behaviour is that you cannot get anything done properly if you are running around like this. In the end, nothing actually gets done (at least well) because you are not focused on the task at hand
