This is a longplay in Sega CD version of Sega the Hedgehog CD.

Sonic the Hedgehog CD, or Sonic CD, is a platform video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. It was initially released for the Sega/Mega-CD in 1993.

Sonic arrives at Never Lake where the fabled Little Planet (also known as Miracle Planet) is said to appear on the last month of every year. Sonic arrives to find the planet tethered to a mountain by a chain and completely mechanized. Sonic realizes this is the work of his nemesis, Doctor Robotnik, who had set foot in this island to transform it into a giant fortress. Upon discovering Sonic's presence on the island, he dispatches Metal Sonic to kidnap young female hedgehog called Amy Rose when she follows Sonic to the mystical planet. Sonic must collect the Time Stones which are seven jewels capable of altering the passage of time itself.

Having gathered all seven Time Stones throughout time, Sonic defeats Metal Sonic and faces off against Robotnik. Following the Doctor's defeat, Sonic and Amy escape as Little Planet is returned to normal and leaves Never Lake.

I remember playing this on PC/Windows 98 when i was a kid. On November 2018, i've purchased this game on the Xbox 360. And last year i've purchased Sonic Origins on the Xbox One.

oh man my dad bought me the sega CD for xmas one year and i got this game...i played the hell outta it... good times...this was prolly my favorite sonic game!!!! im 34 now... doesnt seem like that long ago :/

Thanks for the up, I never got to play this one. with the time warping, it looks a bit more complex than the standard blast through the levels type of gameplay I employed in the first 2 games.Maybe i'll try and track down a sega cd to play this game, it looks so cool. I really wanted it when I was little..

O.O You got all the Time Stones in one try! I again bow to your skills!

Only once did I ever succeed in getting the Time Stones. Most of the time to get the good ending I do the time warp into the past in each level and destroy the UFO therein. I only get the Metal Sonic Hologram if it's convenient.

guys can someone send me a link to a longplay where they get all the metal sonic projectors? I thought this one was gonna be it but they stopped visiting the past once they got all the time stones

this game I beat it a couple of times but I got the bad ending because half of those stupid UFO stages to the time stones and I didn't know where half of the robot machines were in the levels I had for Windows 95 and had dial up internet so it would take forever to look up a list for the game to tell me where all of the robot machines were in the levels
