I bought one of these, with my own yes, I own and have owned some pretty decent turntables in my time. Positives, , great tone arm, tracks accurately, at3600l surprisingly good cartridge. Nice veneered mdf base, decent subplatter with what looks like a brass floating oil bush similar to older Rega turntables . Heavy platter . It looks like they have taken inspiration from some of the "classic" basic decks of the past. There was a little hum from the phono stage, but that may simply be the amp I was using. On board preamp is silent. The motor intially was a little loud but is getting quieter with use. is a revelation. The longer I use it and the more the cartrifge burns in the better it gets. Streets ahead of the decent DJ deck with an AT91 cart that it replaced.So....ignore the audiophile snobs, if you get this on a deal you will have stolen it. It is a superb turntable that not only looks good, but so long as you take the time to set it up, sounds great,

Why would you assume anyone would know how to properly set up the anti-skating?

I got a manual angels horn record player, and have not been able to figure out for the life of me how to get it to work. I had bought some speakers from Amazon and plugged them in correctly but got no sound, do you need an amplifier between the record player and speakers for these to work? I have no clue 😕

I didnt get any anti skating string and weight with mine when i set it up today, it still playing fine

@GADGET CRUNCH This will be my first TT, and on its way in the mail. Would an external preamp improve the sound or is the internal preamp that comes with it good enough? Also, if I want to upgrade the cartidge/stylus is it pretty easy to intstal? Thanks for the review!

I just got one for Xmas. It seems to be missing atleast one piece. Got it running though, and even at 33 speed it sounds like a chipmunks album. That and the belt drive keeps falling off.
