In this video, I review and discuss the Angels Horn H019 HiFi Bluetooth Turntable With Built-In Speakers. A recent report found that 50% of the people buying vinyl records do not own a turntable. That needs to change. This video is a review for a turntable that is affordable and has features that could potentially make it a great choice as an entry turntable. Does this turntable deliver? Please watch and find out. It's time to take those records off the shelf and enjoy the music.

Here is a link to the Angels Horn website.

Great to see a review of an affordable decent turntable on YouTube, products like this are needed to fill the gap between the rubbish and the high end turntables that has been the norm in the last decade. Good job.

Awesome review Melinda! Looks like a good option for young folks and older folks getting into and back to record collecting.

What a great review Melinda! I'm teaching these lessons about record collecting to my daughter as well! And that's such a beautiful turntable too. Great review! 💯%

You did a fantastic job without trying to sugarcoat shortcomings of a turntable which meets certain budget criteria.
As to someone getting into vinyl and looking for his/her 1st turntable… Well, I would stayed clear from cheap automatic turntables. Eventho it might be tempting, they are usually a nightmare waiting to happen. Cheaply build, over-complexed mechanics that don’t really make a lot of sense. Fixing those cheap automatic turntables is certainly no fun.

I would go with something simple yet reliable. Or go vintage. But have someone look at it and perform basic service before spinning records.

Again, great job.
Perfection as always.

Such a nice looking affordable turntable and informative review.
Like lots if vinyl enthusiasts im just as hooked on the machines that play the records aswell as the actual vinyl records themselves and have collected over the years a number of record players and turntables ranging from vintage/modern budget to more expensive high end players and i just love them all on every level.ive recently given a few record players away to younger folks who are wanting to get into the hobby and love spreading info about the hobby.
Thanks for another great video Melinda 😁

This is a sorely needed option. For years Ive looked to steer beginners away from the cheaper suitcase style record players, which sound horrendous. I try to have them look at the ATLP60 which is an affordable entry level turntable, but many of those folks dont want multiple components, even if its just a pair of cheap powered speakers. This is a wonderful solution for that group. Thanks again for your review and all that you do.

Thanks Melinda! Think i might pick this up for my 8yo daughter. Seems like a decent all in one and that's perfect for her. I appreciate your review 😃👍

I have an Angels Horn turntable in my living room. I wore out the cartridge quickly, until I knew a little more about using turntables. It does just fine. Mine is a belt driven TT, so it requires a little maintenance on the mechanics, but it sounds good, especially if you use a record bought new. Thanks for the vid!

Excellent review, thanks Melinda. A more realistic proposition than the ones at the High End Munich event.

A great introduction to the wonderful world of turntables and vinyl records. For the price, this is a quality turntable for the beginner. It's nice because it teaches you about the setup essentials to get you on your way.

Dear Ms M: Loved your connoiseurly (just made that up!) review. Actually, no anti-skate is not a down side. The anti-skate needs to have its capacitors changed when some go bad over time. Old records play much better on the 3.5 gm stylus than the lighter, more expensive ones, as the records don't skip that much. But when my P-mount Denon DP 29-F gives up the ghost, I will be going for this fine turntable. You are such a sales lady...Angels Horn is smart to have you on its side!

What a cool product. I no longer collect vinyl, only digital. I have a digital collection from ripped CDs I have collected over the years that exceeds 50, 000 songs. But a product like this might create enough interest to pick up a few albums to listen too as novelties.

I myself have an Audio-Technica direct drive turntable, which I am very happy with at this time. I did view the Angels Horn site online, through the link you provided. Although these turntables are not exceedingly expensive, they absolutely will provide better sound quality, and options not obtained on a cheaper turntable (such as a Crosley, , which I would not even call a turntable). I must compliment you on providing a video covering turntables, as this is a key element for anyone who purchases vinyl. I love your channel and always look forward to your future presentations. 👏💯🏆👍😁

Aloha Melinda,
Thank you for an awesome review on this turntable. It's sounds like something someone who's starting off buying records would love to purchase. If any of my friends start getting into records, I'll suggest this web site that you've posted.
Thank you again for a awesome review on this turntable.
Always looking forward to watching your videos & reviews, & recommendations.

Great stuff, Melinda. Good to see affordable turntables that don't overwhelm first time users with cables and complexities. A reasonable sounding, one-box solution is a great idea.
On a different matter, I'm having a horrible time dealing with Mobile Fidelity. A record I received direct from them was so badly warped it was unplayable. They agreed to replace the disc free of charge but insist on me paying the international shipping to get my replacement. I just wondered if anyone else had this experience with them and if it was common practice in the US for vendors to charge shipping when replacing faulty goods? I feel I have already paid them to supply me with a correctly playable record!

Nice that you are helping the younger of us get into and be able to play records! It’s very important to, for lack of a better term, groom the younger generation, and help them along the way! I don’t know this product, but I set my daughter up with a all component stereo system! Mini out there don’t have that ability! Bravo, Melinda!

Very nice review Melinda. I have a cheap Lenco Bluetooth turntable in the dining room and it’s a very, very similar spec to this tbh. It has that same Audio Technica cartridge (which along with the Bluetooth was one of the main reasons I bought it) and it’s really a very decent sounding cartridge for the money and the minimum spec folks should be using. I do play some of my more expensive records on it without any worries! Take care

Nice review as always. For sure a step up from the Crosley Cruiser and Victrola stuff that is out there. I like that it had an AT cart on it and not one of those ruby styluses that chew up the record groove. Not a bad starter turntable for some just now getting into the vinyl scene.
