Do you hate the sound of your voice?

The way you sound is just a behaviour... Just let that land!

Its how you direct airflow and how you shape the air as it comes out of your mouth - that's it!

So don't be so attached to how you sound now because just like any behaviour, it can be changed and improved.

Yo, this is the best advice you could ever give to someone in self-imposed crisis. It's hilarious how unanimously profound this is. This doesn't just apply to your voice, or vocal habits. You can apply this to literally ANY habit or characteristic of yourself that isn't physically manifested in genetics such as your height or eye color.

After this video I’ve simply began even just pronouncing things a little differently, and I know this sounds a bit extreme, but I really feel it transforming my personality and in real time

As someone said the way of living is quite simple you change your normal response to something which works. You'll never reach your dreams unless you're willing to sacrifice everything for it. Sacrifice what doesn't work.

You confirmed it for me today.👍🏻

As I was typing to disagree with you for once, I tried changing my voice to sound more delicate and it somehow worked 🤣 I love how you quantify everything so seemlessly.

But I still do feel that one cannot naturally change the overall quality of their voice. Like sounding more husky or getting a deeper voice on will.

I believe the concept ypur're suggesting/explaining here is quite a breaking news since changing of behavior is known as being on the hardest things to do... I think there's things to dig in this direction.

wow! reframing the tone & sound of my voice reframed or dictates my behaviour!!!

mind blown 🤯… this will definitely be part of my toolbox 🧰 🧠 next time I’m dysregulated.

This is very interesting, because whenever i hear myself talking for to long then i notice that my voice sounds really annoying and it sounds even worse on recordings

Yo creo que encontré mi propia "voz" cuando empece a aprender canto profesionalmente y una maestra me dijo literalmente "esa no es tu verdadera voz", ahora trabajo para que mi conducta sea coherente al sonido que encontré al cantar.

Thanks for this Vinh..I wanted to ask this in the Master class, but forgot.. I hate listening to my voice after I record a video and yes, a paradigm shift is required.

So wait a second - as a resident in MD and if I just happen to be out of town and happen up on a boat show (like if I’m in Miami, NJ or somewhere along Lake Michigan), I wouldn’t be able to buy it since I’m out of market? I would have to come back to MD and make the purchase?

This one isn't as easy as it sounds, this is one of the toughest things to change, if you're not even having a habitual voice it's not so nice, the change is only important in reliving the story and in expressing entertainment and humor that's all, you don't need to practice too many voices it can become a problem, very similar to what you see in handwriting. Stick to a pattern

It's a men thing. Girls don't get confused. You do have a natural voice. Ofcourse you can change your voice, that doesn't mean you don't have a natural voice.
