How I make money on youtube:

Many people consider HP Lovecraft's work as a fore runner for modern horror fiction as his work served as a pioneer for many horror genres and styles to come. With his out of the box strangeness and almost instantly recognizable style, his distinct work has become ubiquitous in the history of horror.

This is the Lovecraftian Entity Iceberg.

“No new horror can be more terrible than the daily torture of the commonplace.” - HP Lovecraft.

I’m a massive fan of Lovecraft’s writings. There does seem to be a bit of an obsession with making a film to do the lore justice but visual media is not best for this. To enjoy Lovecraft’s work at its best … read it! Sublimely written stuff. The horror is in what isn’t “shown” but suggested.

Just a suggestion you should add the layers of the iceberg to give a better understanding on where each one is on said iceberg… that’s kind of the point of an iceberg lol

Not many things conjure up dread more than trying to visualize some of these utterly grotesque abomination

My first exposure to a Lovecraft sort of entity was old hermaeus Mora I did not know what I was looking at but I was intrigued...
This writhing mass of Goo tentacles and otherworldly eyeballs along with his own plane apocrypha that contains all of the Lost knowledge stacked haphazardly and nonsensically in gravity-defying thank you maker you may as well as started my new

The concept of the Hounds of Tindalos is probably my favorite from all the “lovecraftian” beings.

Fridge moment: Maybe "wings" are the typical means of space travel by creatures because they're not actually wings, they're something more akin to biological solar sails.

There's a game, that I installed in my phone about a decade ago, its called "wasted land: call of cthulu" and its plot takes place during ww1. I recommend anyone interested in H.P. Lovecraft that can find this game to try it.
I myself couldn't find it anywhere again though, unfortunately.

The dimensional shambler reminds me of evil version of the messengers from Bloodborne.

Which, if anyone reading this is a fan of Lovecraft and you haven't played Bloodborne, you are missing out on what I believe to be one of the best works of lovecraftian horror ever made if not the best

“It’s indescribable & smells vile” -Lovecraft

Why is literally every Lovecraft story just “being of indescribable horror”-> wants to destroy everything-> Somehow has a cult behind it-> The End

a small note: one of the earliest entries you discuss is "outer gods" and literally your description of them starts with oh they are different from great old ones- but at this point you haven't even told us what great old ones are so there is no frame of reference established. 7 or so minutes later you introduce the great old ones- if you were to switch the orders a bit and introduce the great old ones first, then it would make sense when you are framing the outer gods in comparison to the great old ones.

Take a shot every time a track from a Nintendo OST starts in the background.

See, I don’t find the night-gaunts scary at all. They remind me of Digimon, lol. But much simpler and cooler. And I really enjoyed seeing all of the artwork of them in this video. I think they must be my favorite Lovecraftian entities. And I also enjoyed learning about their connection to a real Celtic deity, that Nodens character—he looked so much like Odin in that picture I found, with one eye and a raven on his shoulder—I wonder if that’s an accurate depiction of him.

33:58 yep, that checks out with Lovecraft’s opinions, lol

Fun fact shub nigurath is the secret final boss of Bloodborne though in the game she's called the moon presence

You need to read more Lovecraft and learn the difference between his work, the Lovecraftian circle and Derlerth material. There is so many confusions in this video.

You forgot the most notable name for azathoth, the sleeping idiot god, you also neglected to mention our universe might be it's dream
