What other types of icebergs would you wish to see explored? Yes - meme format videos are now how you beat the algorithm!

i can confirm that "forgetting to take out food from the freezer before mom comes home after she told you to do so" is the biggest apocalypse in the miltiverse

Gotta love how your atoms could line up and you could fall through your chair at any moment but it’s almost certainly not going to happen

First sciencephile learned to mimic human speech more accurately and now its editing is becoming better and better with every episode. It seems an A.I. apocalypse is becoming more and more inevitable.

This needs a pt. 2. There are so many more- strange matter, rogue star/planet, solar flares, global EMP, supernova, consequences of the Doomsday Argument, voluntary extinction, cyberterrorism, ocean acidification, anoxic event, AMOC decline/"Cold Blob", Dansgaard–Oeschger event, reduced solar activity, weoponized A.I., destructive GMOs, mineral resource exhaustion, collision/flyby of another solar system, flood basalt volcano, Verneshot, and consequences of the Holocene Extinction/ total ecological collapse

You know, when I was a kid and first found out about the many apocalypse scenarios that could very well occur at any moment, I got all scared and worried cuz I was a kid and little kids aren’t equipped to handle all that existential dread, but honestly, now I’ve kinda just accepted it. The world is probably gonna end soon, but I can’t do shit to stop it, and there’s no point in getting all worked up about it, so you might as well forget about it and enjoy the time you have left

Its always a great day when Sciencephile comes out of his monthly coma.

Combining scientific subjects, with memes is so good and entertaining to watch, that it's actually good to learn through that, imo, good video

*I like how Youtube could demonetize you if you mention the name of a pandemic **_we are all currently living._*

I like the vacuum one most. Imagine not even noticing that anything changed because the laws of Physics were just changed a bit. Then some student sais the pendulum will gain energy, the teacher thinks it's wrong but it will just gain speed forever

Variations of Gray Goo:
Golden Goo - the result of actions aimed at extracting gold or other valuable substance (e.g. from sea water)
Black Goo - nanomachines designed to attack humans (analogous to pathogenic microbes), used as a biological weapon
Red Goo - an intentional apocalypse resulting from a terrorist attack or the actions of a psychopath
Khaki Goo - the use of analogous nanomachines by the military to destroy a hostile country, continent or planet
Blue Goo - The prevalence of nanomachines that control or destroy any of the other types. Suggested as the only effective way to prevent such disasters
Pink Goo - Caricatured representation of humanity as a species spreads and replicates in an uncontrolled manner, consuming the planet's resources and potentially being able to take over space beyond Earth as well. From this point of view, the expansion of humans into space looks like a gigantic catastrophe, leading to the "digestion" of the entire galaxy by the still-produced copies of man
Green Goo - nanomachines whose task is to control the spread of Pink Goo by sterilizing or even killing its individuals (e.g. released by eco-terrorists)
In another context, Green Goo is made up entirely of organic compounds.

Last apocalypse: *Hits home real hard*
The actual last one: *Lightens up the mood*

After all those crazy scenarios and spooky music playing, seeing the words "End of Consciousness" at the bottom and hearing Gymnopédie No. 1 really hits with a hefty payload of despair

In case y’all were wondering the music used at the start of the video is Danse Macabre by Saint Saens. This literally translates to dance of death. Well played Sciencephile, Also the O Fortuna was certainly a nice touch, all we needed was some Dies Irae ( Historical Latin piece about the Biblical day of wrath, it’s often used in movies in different ways to represent death, you can hear it really clearly played on bells in Home Along when he meets the neighbor guy with a shovel ) and the trinity would have been complete. Also small note Beethoven 5 main theme is called the fate motif, fitting choice of foreshadowing. And Clair de lune represents the different stages of grief notable among those being denial and acceptance. Certainly in good taste

Us being inside the new vacuum has always been my favorite theory on the big bang. Always thought it made a lot of sense

I think the vacuum one is the most terrifying, that everything is just one long loop of realities changing and creating new rules for how the universe works.

Scientists proposed that, given a strong enough a H-bomb, that the atmosphere could burn up in a chain reaction. but since they don't know the exact threshold for this to happen, they already warned for this just after the first few nuclear bomb tests.
